The Pharmacy of IAM is a professional facility whose main task is to provide a modern and affordable pharmaceutical services for the general public and for the professional departments of the Institute of Aviation Medicine Prague.

Scope of activities:

• providing of the expenditure of prescribed pharmaceuticals for general public
• expeditions of pharmaceuticals for Institute's departments
• cash sale of medicines, medical supplies, medical cosmetics, foods for special medical purpose as well as other complementary range; cashless payments are also at disposal
• guidance, counseling and information services for health promotion focused on prevention and early detection of diseases and the help with a safe and effective self-medication
• participation and cooperation with physicians and other medical personnel in life-long learning system, leading to an increase of professional competency of pharmacists
• providing of services for a proper and safe disposal of unused or expired medicines and medical devices
