Organization of routine medical examinations of military and civilian aviation personnel at the IAM:
a) examinations start on collecting the papers at the IAM´s Health Documentation Archives (the ground floor) and completing the respective documentation with specification of the scope of examination by the medical advisor at the IAM´s reception office from 7.00 – 8.30 every morning
b) also demanded is an extract from the medical documentation of the past period
c) there is no need to make an appointment (except for initial examinations) because the following schedule is in effect:
- Monday through Thursday – civilian professionals (commercial & transport planes pilots), private, glider and baloon pilots, flight attendants, ultralight aircraft users
- Wednesday through Friday – military pilots,
Sporadically, and by mutual consent, flying personnel can be examined even out of the above schedule.
Other persons:
- can only be examined provided the capacity of the departments is free for use
- paid preventive examinations – on Fridays (individuals), possibly on Saturdays (a group of ten persons at least )
