The Department provides the assessment of medical fitness for all groups of aviation personnel.

For the public it offers examinations and operations in:

  • Abdominal surgery
  • Motion apparatus
  • Vascular examination
  • Proctologic consulting (diseases of rectum)
  • Podologic consulting (diseases of feet)
  • Mammologic consulting (diseases of breast)
  • Minor procedures in local anaesthesia
    1. warts
    2. small pedunculate skin formations
    3. birthmarks
    4. fatty lumps
    5. closed sebaceous glands

Minor surgery is performed every day except Thursdays from 7:00 am. Another time can be arranged by appointment.

Other surgical operations are provided at Na Homolce Hospital.
